We came up with this comic idea quite a while ago. I was best man at my brothers wedding. I let Reese know where and when the reception was going to be taking place because he knew my brother well and I figured he would want to give his congratulations. Reese's only question was "Is there a dress requirement" which I replied not really, myself garbed in a full on tux, but not having much of a choice in the matter. So in comes Reese in his best dress outfit, a T-shirt, cargo shorts, work boots, and his flash drive. I'll be it; it was his nicest DBZ T-shirt, reserved for special occasions. This wasn't a problem by all means; it's just entertaining to see the contrast. We get to talking as things wind down and for some reason I threw out the quote from Teddy Roosevelt, to which (with a glint of cleverness in his eye) he replies 'It's a gig dude'. Thus this is true, and this utmost cheese must be recorded for future prosperity!
Now that story time is over I guess I can regale you with a few antics from the week. I'll start by saying it was mid-term week. I know, I know, your all saying mid-terms already? Yeah, I go to a year round quarterly based school that goes pretty damn fast if you're not paying attention. I had the biggest bull shit pulled by my Japanese history teacher too. We took a large test recently (aka our midterm). I studied pretty hard and felt pretty confident coming out of it. This week we got the results back. I (as I'm sure the rest of the class) was under a great deal of stress over this test being our only grade so far in the class. I looked at it and started at question 1. and went down the line, as did 90% of both her classes, only to have in the middle of the goddamn directions on how to take a multiple choice test state that we need to draw a samurai for 9 points (a full letter grade +). First off, how does drawing a samurai truly test our knowledge of Japanese history? Secondly, the teacher has the gall to walk into class and to be disappointed in us for not seeing this! So Instead of getting a proud +A on my test I got a respectable B, but there are those in the class who would have passed fine with a C but instead failed outright. I'm all for making sure we have observation skills, but isn't a teacher pulling this kind of crap a little unprofessional?
I went a little longer with that then expected, and if you read it your probably sick of reading now...
So here's Reese's post, enjoy...

Vance pretty much described the wedding situation perfectly, but forgot to include the fact that I rode my motorcycle there and was wearing my leather jacket and carrying my helmet when I showed up. Just thought I would better describe the situation so you could get the proper mental image.
In regards to my post last week. I promised you more info, so here goes. I had a rough day on Monday, Vance was late with the comic due to computer issues, so I didn't get it until I was already at work. It was a busy day at work and I couldn't spend the time to type up a proper post. Then, when I got off of work I headed over to Vance's house to work on his brother's computer. When I finished that, I was too tired to write anything. So I thought, let's just wait until tomorrow...
Well, things went to shit at work and I was very busy all week (and shall continue to be for quite some time). I was getting a little stressed with everything that was going on, so I thought, what better way to relieve this stress than to play the game I just bought, City of Villains. So I go to log on and there is a billing issue that is flagging my account as inactive even though I had paid for it. I sent them an email to get it corrected. I still didn't feel like writing anyting, so I watched anime between checking my email every half hour waiting for a response to my tech support email.
Two days later, after a call to their tech support, I'm in the game. I decided to spend the entire weekend playing games and relaxing, trying to forget about the impending doom coming on Monday as I will have to return to work.
This is a longer post than normal for me, but I intend to fill this space more often as I get used to the whole website thing. I used to have a website before, but it was very stagnent since I only updated it once every six months or so. I'm suprised it stayed up for the years it did, seeing as it was a free site and depended on activity to stay up. I think in the five years it was up, it gathered a grand total of just over 400 hits. This site does more than that in a month, so I think it does work better with content. Just a guess though...
