Back to World of Warcraft! This week's comic is pretty self explanatory, as long as you know what sapping is. Sadly though I can not take the credit for text in the comic, that is extracted strait from the game via /silly, or /vsilly when I conceived this idea. My main was a human paladin, and I had to think of the most annoying thing I could be doing, and spamming /silly to get the exact contents of the story about a dozen or more times seemed like a good idea. In order not to sully my characters name I actually made a new character, hopped in, spammed the hell outa that emote, and wrote it down, deleting the character forthwith upon logging out.
Honestly this comic came about just for the fact that I was constantly sapped... As a Protection paladin I had no fear or rogues, they normally killed themselves on my shield before they could even touch me. So it was common practice to sap me, attack whoever I was with, and leave me alone. It got very annoying as you can probably figure.
On a side note I rarely get to talk about cartoons, although it is the main focus of my life. I find it interesting that the Cartoon Network has begun showing live action movies. Now I can see the connection between Cartoon Network and Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and maybe even Small Soldiers (although not that good of a movie) But Batman, and the Goonies? Nothing animated whatsoever. I'm not necessarily complaining since for the most part (excluding Small Soldiers) they have enlisted A+ movies. But we all saw what happened with Toonami? Starting off with staples and the highest of quality, and now they still show good stuff, but in between a lot of crap, and Miguzi is a shameful joke. Adult Swim however is still the shiznit, and bravo to the chaps down at Williams Street!
These are, in the end, just my opinion (which are subject to change in a blink of an eye) I just don't want to see crappy animation thrive whilst quality is left in the past.

While Vance has been trudging through old comics to bring you the best from games we no longer play, I've been playing City of Villains more and more. It's a good game and I'm just about to the point of figuring out what powersets I like. Interestingly enough, the first character I made has my favorite design and power choices so far.
CoV is just like CoH (City of Heroes) except they have fixed alot of the annoying things and the story arcs you do are more entertaining. Most of my missions are so so, but every so often I get to do something really fun. Such as plant false information about the death of a heroes parents and then use that as leverage to turn them to villainy. I commend Cryptic Studios for spending the time to actually write interesting stories for their game as well as design excellent visuals. I just finished a Stike Force (series of missions, quite difficult) that ended with my group trying to invade an oil rig in the ocean that was just loaded with troops and turrets. I had a great time, but also got to work with other members of my Supergroup (read: guild). It was the best group I've had in CoV so far. Good to know that my fellow Supergroup members are decent players and not just a bunch of flakes.
