I'll let Reese tell you about his "polishing" techniques. After that there's not too much for me to tell.
I have a job interview today so wish me luck. Thanks to Chip, Anthony and Reese's efforts I should have a real job shortly.

I've mentioned the crate in the past, but I've never got into the whole story. I had two roommates in my first appartment. They were in the process of kicking out their other roommate due to his lack of interest in paying rent. He had already taken off and had left some junk behind. One of those items was this really sturdy crate. I didn't want to see it go to waste but I had nowhere to put it. After moving most of my stuff into my new room, I just moved the crate to the middle of the room until I could find a spot for it. Turns out, when I sat on it that the crate was the perfect height for my computer desk. Since my computer chair at the time was falling apart (and wasn't that great to begin with), I decided to try the crate out. Worked like a charm and solved several problems at once.
I used that crate for many years and I still have it now. Of course, it now just serves it's original purpose of holding some of my crap, but it will always be available if a friend is in need...
