I am referencing an quote from Reese some time ago:
"I though the spirit of
christmas was what
Powered my computer
Christmas morning?"
~Reese
I've always somewhat marveled at Reese's ability to just be happy. Another of his famous quotes would be... "If I feel myself getting depressed, I just think it's funny and laugh at myself." This coupled with the lack of enthusiasm to receive or give gifts actually works out into a constant state of happiness for him. Is some ways, I actually envy that a little.

Both of those quotes are more or less accurate. I have a problem with Christmas, it's like the season is the designated time for giving gifts. I've always followed the idea that if you see something that you know someone will like, why not buy it for them and give it to them then? Why does happiness have to wait until Dec. 25th? Just like the licks for a Tootsie Roll Pop, the world may never know.
