For those who don't remember Herman is the leader of a small band of mice that make up my brain. With the recent economic crunch there have been some cutbacks in there as of late.
Ever since the economy took a plummet unemployment has been up and people have been in somewhat of a scramble. Companies are doing what they can to ride this out and we, the working class, take the hit. In these trying times, as things get rougher on us all. I've seen a steady trend of companies squeezing there grip on their employees in their freedoms and expression at work, thus removing their overall happiness, leading to frustrations and contempt. I am also extremely tired of everyone's attitude of "At least you have a job". Yes, yes we do, but why cripple an already wounded situation with unneeded limitations? It just makes everything worse then it needs to be.

I actually really like this comic. I'm not having any of these issues currently at my work, so I can't relate directly, but I've talked a bit to Vance about this kind of stuff and I think the comic captures it perfectly. I also think it fits in with how Vance's brain probably works.
On a side note, I ran across a post that pointed out this product on Amazon. Of course it's a complete rip off, but what is entertaining is all the user comments. If you have some time to kill, I could think of worse ways to spend it.

Also, Penny Arcade's comic for today reminds me of our first comic, only in that it uses the word rhombus.
