True story... After getting let in the store to buy our Wii's Reese and I were both waiting in line to be rung out, as we both stared at a wall of actual guitars, at about the same time we realized that they were actual guitars, and not Guitar Hero 2 controllers. But man, thems woulda been some sweet controllers.

I have had little chance to play Guitar Hero 2 myself; my only exposure was playing it in Fry's Electronics whilst waiting for my new card to be approved. So I'll let Reese cover the bases on that since he owns it.

Finals are over and nothing splendid to show for it. I'm on break for Christmas now, many well wishes to you all these upcoming holidays.

I am the proud owner of Guitar Hero 2 and I think it is a great game. As I play it more and more, I notice how much fun it really is even though I've never played an instrument before in my life. It is fun to play and along with my Wii, it has been great for entertaining guests that come over.

I've even coerced my parents into playing it (my dad is entirely anti-gamer) and not only did they enjoy it, they asked how much it costs to buy the game, two guitar controllers and a Playstation 2. When I told them it would set them back about $250 for the whole setup, they said that sounded reasonable. All hail the glory of being a pretend rock star.
