Very Bunny

Maybe it's just that I'm paying more attention then I normally would, which is highly doubtful at the moment, but it seems like there is a lot more of the "What does a bunny and an egg actually have to do with Easter" question going around this year. Frankly, I don't care, but I used the fuel to my own end... and end it may be.

So, we got together in a large group and trotted off to see Meet the Robinsons, the new 3D animation from Disney, and I have to give you a little back story before I actually tell you what I thought of the movie.

I'm sitting in class when my buddy Matt ushers me over to watch this trailer, this was some month ago before any of the hype, and I watched it. It looks funny cute and promising (many things tend to though) Then, we stop it, and played one scene in slow motion, where the Man in the bolo hat takes a step after leaving the shop, or what not, and we sat in awe.

Not only was it a good step, but his leg curved and wiggled like it was made of candy. Right then and there I knew this was going to be something. When you watch it (because I know you will) pay special attention to how the sinister character moves. Every pose verges on brilliance and I sat in spender as I experienced something that escaped the rest of my party. I know this cuz I brought it up, and nobody noticed it near to the extent I did. I guess that's the joys of being an animator, you get to truly revel in good animation, but it really does kill the bad stuff.

So! To make it short! The Movie was AWESOME! on every level it could be. It even had one of those awe inspiring moments that I love so much from classic Disney. I really see this movie as Disney trying to step back to their roots, what made them great to start with, and give their fans the pristine productions that were once common place. Please, oh please! Don't prove me wrong...

(I'd do a comic of it, but I couldn't come close to doing it justice. So you'll just have to live with my review.)

I haven't had anything special going on recently. Life is just going on like normal with nothing standing out that I can think of. It seems so easy to just let things run their typical course and watch the weeks go by, but I think I should mix that up a bit every now and again. Maybe I'll put some effor into that to see what I can come up with...

I'm still playing WoW and having a good time with my Warlock. It does get kinda hard to keep playing though when I read things like this. I really hope the next generation or so of the MMO type games really work on those issues, as it should make the games that much more enjoyable.
