Remember the days of your youth when you could just make your mother a crappy drawing for Mother's Day and she would love it or at least feign loving it to save your feelings? At what point do we have to stop doing that and at what point do our mothers get to say "This macaroni's great and all, but I could use some diamond earrings.”

I have a lot of respect for my mother. She is a strong woman that has lead a harder life than she probably should have. I, for one (out of eight), would not be nearly the person I am today if it weren't for her guidance through my life. I love you mom. Happy Mother's Day.
