The Olympics have eaten my soul... I never even cared about the Olympics until I meet Jessica. My early memories of the games weren't of joy and glory, but rather "Why can't we watch what I want to watch."

I think the Olympics are a ploy to bore little children away from the TV. It's not proven yet, but with the right funding we may find the cure for ADHD.

My true joy in watching the Olympics actually stems from watching all the odd sports you never see here in the US preformed at the master level. I became enthralled in a bad mitten game just the other day. Hand ball has also been a fun watch along with field hockey and archery. It's nice, every once in a while, to step outside oneself and experience things not accustom to you.

Here's to all the athletes, big and small, who are showing there merit in an honorable fashion.
