I found some time ago that there are classic funnies in the world. You know most of these from the vaudeville days; Monkeys, pie, banana peals, men in woman's clothing. Out of these my favorites have always been monkeys and pie. I mean you get a monkey to do anything and its entertaining, and pie gags have been around since the dawn of time. There are cave drawing in Baktanisuwan of one caveman hitting another caveman in the face with a banana cream pie, Seriously! Google it!

So with this time proven thing all we have left to do it start combining these gems of time in various ways. If I really saw a monkey holding a pie I think I would die a happy man.

What Vance doesn't realize is that you will never see a monkey with a pie. The reason being is that any monkey near a pie will immediately start eating it or flinging it in small pieces (like poo).
