So, the Olympics have started, if you haven't noticed, and I have been watching them quite a bit. I say I've been watching them because Jessica's been watching them and I've been there too. I'm certainly not opposed to the Olympics, I'm just not into sports all that much but it is fun watching these obscure games (like handball) being played at a professional level.

So I'm kind of under the whether today. I woke up feeling like crap and it hasn't got much better through the day. Hope this doesn't last too long...

Entertaining note: I actually vaguely remember playing handball in elementary school...

I've had an interesting weekend. My girlfriend isn't a gamer and has in the past stated that she would never play a computer game (consoles are okay). Well, recently she decided she would give a computer game a chance as her way of trying to be supportive of my hobbies (thank you babe). I thought long and hard about which game I would start her with, as it would have to be friendly to a new gamer and would also have to allow her to play cooperatively with me.

After giving her a few different options, she decided to give World of Warcraft a shot. I set her up with a trial account and we've been playing a bit. She is having fun so far and apparently it has been going well enough to where she has purchased the WoW Battlechest. I'm excited to play again, especially since I'll be playing with her. I hope she understands how much it means to me to have her be willing to give this a shot.
